The Tallé promise

Your data never leaves your phone.

Most budget apps want your bank login, your contacts, your location — every drop of behavioral data they can resell. Tallé wants none of it. There is literally no server to send your data to.

No accounts, no loginsOpen the app and start. No email, no password, no profile.
No bank connectionsYou type what you spent. Your bank stays out of it — no third-party aggregators, no Plaid, no surprises.
No analytics or trackersWe don't measure how you use the app because we can't see you using it.
Works fully offlineAirplane mode? Subway? Cabin in the woods? Tallé doesn't care. It never needed the internet.

What it does

Just the budgeting. Done well.

No social features, no chat-with-an-advisor, no investing crypto sidebar. Tallé does one thing: helps you track what you spend and what you have left.

Glance-first dashboard

See what's left, what's spent, and which categories are about to blow up — in two seconds, before unlocking your phone all the way.

Today or any date

Log entries for today, backdate them, or jump to next month to plan ahead. The calendar is yours.

14 categories built in

Fuel, groceries, housing, insurance, vehicle, entertainment, meals, cell, internet, bills, services, medical, investments — and other for everything else.

Per-category budgets

Set monthly limits per category. Mint when you're safe, amber when close, red when over — you always know where you stand.

Multiple income sources

Full-time, side gigs, dividends, gifts. Add as many as you have — Tallé totals them and shows the share each contributes.

Smart per-category fields

Fuel tracks gallons and odometer. Meals just take an amount. Each category asks for what it needs and nothing more.

Own your data

Export it. Anywhere.

Your data is yours. Pull it out whenever you want, in whatever format fits where it's going — spreadsheets, accountants, tax software, your own scripts. No "premium tier" required.

Questions

The short answers.

Really, nothing leaves my phone?

Really. Tallé has no servers. The app never requests background data, never contacts an analytics endpoint, never asks for cloud permissions. If you airplane-mode your phone and use Tallé for a year, every feature still works.

How do I move to a new phone, then?

Export a backup file from settings, transfer it to the new device (AirDrop, USB, email-to-yourself, however you like), and import it. The backup is encrypted with a passphrase only you set.

What permissions does Tallé ask for?

Notifications (optional, for budget alerts) and storage access (only when you tap "Export" or "Backup"). That's it. No contacts, no SMS, no location, no microphone, no camera.

Is it free?

The app is free to download with full functionality. A one-time unlock removes the cap on stored months and unlocks .xlsx and .pdf exports. No subscription, ever.

iOS version?

Coming soon. The Android version shipped first; iOS parity is the next major milestone.

Can I import data from another app?

Yes — CSV import works with exports from most popular budget apps. The mapping screen lets you match columns once and reuse the template.

Your finances, simplified.

Free download. No account. No tracking. Just a budget app that respects you.
